Standard Uninstall Instructions

QuickBooks Desktop can be removed at any time using the standard Windows uninstall process:

  1. Press Windows Key + I to open Windows Settings
  2. Navigate to Apps & Features or Add or Remove Programs
  3. Locate QuickBooks Desktop 2025 in the installed applications list
  4. Click Uninstall and follow the standard Windows uninstall prompts
  5. Restart your computer to complete the removal process if prompted

Standard uninstall removes all program files. Your accounting data files are stored separately and can be backed up before uninstallation if needed.
